Gabe Turns Seven!

Gabe had a great birthday yesterday! It started out us meeting Kevin Cram over in Poipu to go Snuba (snorkel+SCUBA) for his first time. He loved it! There were so many fish to see and they were all over and seemed to be pretty unafraid! He got right down and figured out the breathing with the regulator and everything. Jake did it, too. He was a little more apprehensive, but got in and under and saw the fish. He didn't stay under as long as Gabe mainly because he got cold. But I was impressed that he was able to do it and go under. I held his had most of the time and kind of dragged him around. Kevin video taped the whole thing and gave it to Gabe for his birthday. Kevin, Kathy, Josh and Stephanie came over for dinner and cake and ice cream to celebrate with Gabe.

Gabe spoke with both of his Grandmas on the phone who wished him a happy day. Then we also called Grandma Pete to wish her a Happy Birthday, too! I think he had a great day, since he came up to me and gave me a big hug and said Thank you for the birthday! What a great kid!
